How To: Missions

Here on NSoL, the main way to impact the world is to take part in the various types of missions that can be challenged in your free time. They are all dynamic in their own sense, allowing the character to be different even amongst characters who have the exact same amount of missions done. Missions are a great way to rank your character up and gain experience both in game and as far as the OOC world as well. The reason why is because the mission system works on word count, using the handy-dandy word counter to the top left of the screen. Certain mission have certain word count ranges and these word count ranges must be met in order for the missions to be considered completed. Otherwise, the one taking the missions must continue to type until the word count is at least minimally met. For every 10 words over the maximum required word count, an additional 2 experience points will be added to your reward. Additionally, there is an optional post count that a poster could reach to bypass the word count. Its all about preferences.
