Description: Senbon are long, narrow needles that are used for piercing. They are generally made of iron, being so light weight they are generally negligible. The downside, however, to their light weight is that they are unable to be used for deflecting projectiles if thrown. They are extremely sharp but extremely brittle.

Name: Shuriken

Description: For those shinobi that like a little more bang for their buck than the Senbon allows, there are the Shuriken. These bad boys, although heavier and thus more encumbering, are far more easily thrown and are larger, being able to be used as a small hand-blade. While they pierce more deeply than senbon, they are generally only useful as distractions, effective when aiming for locations such as eyes or for slashing at tendons. These are typically used as projectile weapons, able to knock off the trajectory of other shuriken and senbon with ease. They are generally made from iron.

Name: Kunai

Description: For those who want "Quality over Quantity," there is the handy dandy Kunai Knife. While very few of these may be held at a time, they are the shinobi's proto-tool. Their weight allows them to pierce quite deeply when thrown, making them useful for more than just a distraction and they are able to knock off the trajectory of most flying projectiles when thrown. When held by the grip, they can be used for many tasks. Climbing, digging, cutting, slashing, you name it. These are the go to tool of the Ninja Universe. They are generally made of steel or iron.

Name: Goggles

Weight: Miniscule, likely weight-less.
Description: Goggles are the identifying item of an academy student. They are expected to be bought by the parents or guardians of the shinobi for the student to wear and they come in all types of colors and designs. Though they serve more purpose than a forehead protector, many shinobi discontinue their goggles after receiving their forehead protector as a sign of growing up.

Genin Rank

Name: Forehead Protector

Weight: Weightless
Description: The forehead protector is the headband that is worn by almost every ninja, composed of a metal plate engraved with the symbol of the ninja's Hidden Village, and normally a band of cloth which can be in different colours. The forehead protector is received once a ninja graduates from the Academy, and genin-level or higher ranked ninja are the only ones allowed to have and use them. They come in various styles and colors and can be worn in various different ways.

Name: Sealing Scroll

Weight: Depends on the size.
Description: Sealing Scrolls remain one of the most important pieces of equipment in a ninja's arsenal. Because of their size, multiple scrolls can be carried into battle in the front pouches of a flak jacket or in a pouch. Apart from its usage as a literature medium, the scroll can also be used by ninja to summon creatures, people and items to their aid. This will save space and prevent the sacrifice of a much needed piece of equipment which may be required later. Some techniques can also be stored in them. These can hold up to 100 items of 4 different type and nothing more.

Name: Fuuma Shuriken

Description: The Fuuma Shuriken is a large, four-bladed shuriken possessing pre-eminent sharpness and lethality. This type of shuriken is considered characteristic to the famous Fūma clan, after whom they were named and who possibly developed them. However, their use is not limited to this clan. Its four blades can be collapsed for easy storage, leading to its nickname Shadow Windmill.

Chuunin

Weight: about 9 or 10 Kg
Description: Flak jackets are a form of protective clothing designed to provide protection from such things as blunt-force trauma or even bladed weapons, shrapnel and other projectiles or weaponry. They are usually worn by chūnin and jōnin over their normal clothing in most villages, although the design varies among the villages and have also changed over time. The jackets are among the most iconic pieces of shinobi equipment. Most of them have pockets, which can be used to store scrolls and also allow a ninja to access them with only one hand.

Description: The katana is characterized by its distinctive appearance: a curved, slender, single-edged blade with a circular or squared guard and long grip to accommodate two hands. It has historically been associated with the samurai of feudal Japan and has become renowned for its sharpness and strength. It is made of steel, making it quite durable.

Name: Explosive Tag
Requisition Rank: Chuunin+
Weight: Weightless
Description: An explosive tag is a piece of paper with a seal written down the middle. When placed by the user and chakra is infused into the seal, it will stick to whatever surface it is placed on and when a seal is made by the user, it will detonate like C-4. They are particularly versatile, allowing the user to rig an entire location to explode by setting up multiple tags all over the place. Additionally, due to their low weight and paper-like qualities, they can be hidden very well.
