The history of the Akkimisu Clan is one of a clan that has become lost in the history of the world. Ninja historians have heard the name Akkimisu but have failed to find any true evidence of who they were or what happened to them. This is due to most of the clan being wiped out during the First Shinobi World War. Prior to that war, the Akkimisu Clan was a famous clan of summoners known as the 'Original Summoners'. This distinction was due to the clan's unique ability of being able to Summon without using blood offerings and hand seals. While the Akkimisu Clan was a mainstay of the Wind Country, they had no affiliation with Sunagakure, rather they were a nomadic tribe that worshiped the beasts that they summoned. They viewed these beasts as celestial entities that were watching over the people of the tribe. Rituals, among other spiritual celebrations that were meant to make the people of the clan closer to the Summons they worshiped, was a common occurrence.
To better understand how this clan functioned, it is best to know what beast were being worshiped exactly. The beast of the Akkimisu Clan are based off of the Chinese Zodiac. There are twelve beasts of the Zodiac and each beast and members of the clan all worship one beast that they believe strongly in. However, everyone in this clan could not summon these great beast. From the formation of the clan each Zodiac Beast would select one child, the first-born in the family of choosing and that child would be allowed to Summon the beast. This was a lifetime contract and the beast would transfer to first born of another family upon the death of it's master. The people able to summoner the Zodiac Beasts were known as 'The Kindred'. However interestingly enough, the beast chose exclusively within the Akkimisu Clan even though the families in the clan may not be related by blood.
Due to this the Akkimisu Clan is also known for it's devastating Taijutsu style known as Shunkō. This devastating style is only capable to be learned by members of the Akkimisu clan due to the fact that the Zodiac Beast has blessed everyone within the clan with immense Chakra Pools but have rendered them incapable of using Ninjutsu or Genjutsu. Shunkō can however take many years to master however those that can master this style become feared and deadly shinobi. Lastly the Akkimisu Clan is known for their other spiritual abilities blessed on them via the Zodiac Animals. These abilities lead to them being known as 'The Clan of Seers' they were also known to be were the ability to sense others originated.
Once the First Shinobi World War began the Akkimisu Clan remained neutral at first, however other nations wanted the power of the clan. This thirst for power and dominance exhibited by all of the nations of the world forced the Akkimisu to side with Sunagakure during the war. All the members of the clan fought valiantly using Shunkō and caused fear in the world, however the true fear was shown whenever The Kindred arrived to the battlefield causing enemy squads to flee in pure fear of death. But this also made The Kindred and the the whole Akkimisu clan targets, eventually enemies teamed up to take on and wipe out the clan. It became so bad that The Kindred were being wiped out a pace faster then the Zodiac Spirits could find a new host. To fix this, the Spirits began , downsizing, from one beast per person to two beast, and eventually onward. This made The Kindred stronger but also made them fewer in number.
Eventually there was one Kindred left, she was the first Kindred to have all twelve of the Zodiac Beasts inside of her. Her name was Kusabana Akkimisu and she became a force in the First Shinobi World War. Her efforts helped Sunagakura take a decided advantage, for a temporary amount of time. Eventually waves of ninja were sent to destroy Kusabana and the rest of the Akkimisu Clan. Knowing this, Kusabana immediately sent her child into hiding knowing that the Sacred Beast must be passed on. Once Kusabana fell at the battlefield the belief was that the Akkimisu Clan was completely decimated, however over time the Clan has lived on in secret away from society with One Kindred per generation.
.:Clan Traits & Characteristics:.
Members of the Akkimisu Clan at this point all look relatively similar due to the fact that everyone in the direct bloodline originated from Kusabana Akkimisu. However the Clan has wed in outsides over the years, though it is frowned upon and outsiders undergo strict tests of loyalty. Due to living in the harsh deserts as nomads, the Akkimisu are all fairly dark of skin, though some may be darker and lighter than others. They are known for their fairly short hair, short stubby noses and brownish hair and eye colors. Members of the Akkimisu Clan are also known for their rather built frames due to undergoing harsh training and from sheer time spent battling the ferocious nature of a desert. Their eyes are also smaller than others to naturally shield from sand that may blow towards their faces.
Personality wise, the majority of the members of the Akkimisu are very humble. They do not mind living simple lifestyles and are always ready to help others. They are all also very spiritual, they will pray to the Zodiac more often than not and have no problem if they are looked at weirdly for that. They also are very aware of the nature around them being sure not to take more than is needed and look down upon wasteful habits and actions. Most of all an unwritten rule is that no one in the clan shares the secrets of the clan with anyone. Members fear being exiled if they break this code.

The Akkimisu Clan worships the spirits of the Zodiac, and because of this from the beginning of their formation they all are blessed with enormous pools of chakra. It takes a lot of control to handle these chakra pools and more often than not, the strongest of the clan are those that have the best chakra control. Along with their enormous pools of chakra, the Akkimisu Clan has another chakra characteristic that makes them unique. All members of the clan use the special Kekkai Genkai, Etoton (Zodiac Release); this elemental affinity is unique because it is free of elements. This focuses on the spiritual nature of chakra and because of such it is not weak against any type of chakra nor does it have an advantage over any type of chakra.
In addition to their Etoton, members of the Akkimisu Clan have another ability called Kenbun-shoku no Jūni Shi (Color of Perception 12 Animals of the Zodiac). It is a sixth sense of the world around them and they are also granted limited precognitive abilities. It gets stronger through training and can take many years for members to become proficient in it let alone a master of it. Those that show the most promise and can actually master this sensory ability go on to become great warriors and shinobi.
The last caveat of the Akkimisu Clan is restricted to one person known as 'The Kindred'. This person is able to summon the twelve beasts of the Zodiac. While he or she is blessed with this ability upon birth, some of the beasts of the Zodiac will not reveal themselves to the person until he proves strong enough to be worthy. The beasts of the Zodiac all differ greatly in their abilities and powers and the Kindred grows with his beasts becoming stronger along the way.

Etoton has no elemental weakness and no elemental advantage. The effectiveness of Etoton lies in how large the user's chakra pool is and how well they can control it. Description: Kenbun-shoku no Jūni Shi was blessed upon the Akkimisu Clan by the Zodiac Animals due to their devotion to nature and spiritual realm. This spiritual power is said to be able to rival the power of doujutsu and other powerful Kekkai Genkai. This ability allows the user to sense the presence, strength, and emotions of others. Once you become more proficient in this ability, you are able to sense attacks attacks by opponents shortly before they occur. The strength of this ability is based on Spiritual Awareness and Concentration. - Stage One: The user gains the ability to sense the presence of others in the area the size of a small island. Along with this the user is able to feel the emotions of others around them, if the user does not train their concentration properly however, they can be overloaded with a bunch of emotions of others being felt at once. The user can also use this to gauge the strength of others around the user being able to tell who is weaker or stronger.
- Stage Two: The user's Awareness and Concentration improves sharply making them able to concentrate almost involuntarily. Also with this, the birth of the 'Mind's Eye' occurs allowing the user to detect attacks shortly before they are about to hit the user. This is however fairly weak and uncontrollable and happens randomly. This is also affected by the user's awareness of one's self and their surroundings. The higher the opponent's intent to kill makes it easier for the user to detect where they will attack. However if the opponent is too fast it won't matter if the attack can be detected, also if the attack is a random attack then it cannot be tracked.
- Stage Three: The user gains full control over their 'Mind's Eye' their ability to detect attacks is no longer random and is now an subconscious trait. Users can even detect danger in their sleep and immediately awake. Along with this intent to kill is no longer a factor and the user can detect the attack sharply and with great precision at all times. The same limits still apply, random attacks that neither the user or the opponent knows where it will land are undetectable, and if the opponent is too fast then it won't matter if it can be detected.

Description: Jūni Shi is the Kekkai Genkai ability of the chosen Akkimisu Clan member that allows them the ability to summon the 12 Animals of the Zodiac. The abilities of the Zodiac Creatures are unique to the user's ability and potential. The Summons become stronger along with the user and learn jutsu specific to the user. The stronger the user becomes the more Animals he can summon at once and the greater access he'll have to the stronger members of the Zodiac. The boss of the Jūni Shi is the Celestial Dragon Ryū who only reveals himself to the strongest and has thus far only revealed himself to the Kusabana. The Jūni Shi do not require hand seals or blood offering to be summoned. If the specific beast is called out for, once they have acknowledged you strength, they will simply take some chakra from the user and summon themselves.- Name: Busō-shoku no Jūni Shi (Color of Arms 12 Animals of the Zodiac)

Description: Busō-shoku no Jūni Shi was created by Kusabana Akkimisu upon being trained by the Celestial Dragon Ryū. This technique is extremely difficult to learn and master and only the strongest are able to even begin the process of learning this. Combined with the Color of Perception and the Akkimisu Fighting Style of Flash Cry, Color of Arms makes the user one of the greatest Taijutsu specialists in the World. Using the spiritual energy provided by Etoton, the user can create an 'invisible armor' around their body that can only be overcome by significant physical force, this armor can also be used as a weapon and can make even stronger from pure brute force of the spiritual energy surrounding the user.- Stage One: The user is able to surround themselves with an invisible armor of Etoton augmenting their defense to withstand the strongest of attacks. Only those with very high physical strength would be able to break through this armor. In addition to armor the user is able to use this power as a weapon and physical attacks are augmented to becoming even more devastating than the attack would be normally. This ability is also able to translate to weapons where if a user used a bow & arrows, those arrows imbued with the Color of Arms would be able to smash through solid stone.
- Stage Two: This stage is known as Hardening, in this stage the user's body is greatly infused with Etoton turning either a specific part or the entire body shiny black. In this stage the user's body can only be harmed from significant physical attacks that only the strongest of warriors in the entire world would be capable of delivering. Also in this stage attacks become more devastating being able to easily crush the bodies of those with low chakra levels and those not on the same level as the user.

- Stage I: Reflection - Reflection begins upon birth is a daily thing, Akkimisu children are taught from an early age that the world around them is one and everything coexists in it. While death may occur and killing is sometimes necessary. Children are still taught to respect everything living and try to understand the spiritual world around them. Reflection helps children garner excess to their large chakra pool in and effectively turn it into spiritual energy. They then are taught how to send the energy throughout their bodies in order to enhance their arms and legs.
- Stage II: Unification - Unification is the process of bringing together ones enhanced combat abilities and better chakra control to create a more potent offensive attack. In this stage normally one is sent into the desert to live alone for a week, in this trial they must learn make themselves physically and spiritually one with nature in order to find food, and survive alone. Usually during this time one becomes more proficient in their Color of Perception to help them locate meals.
- Stage III: Embodiment - Embodiment is the process of spending one month meditating. In this stage the use spends a month alone in the Holy Oasis of the Akkimisu. Here they practice now stop practicing to fully control their spiritual energy. At this point their mastery is at the point that the most skill ninja in chakra control are.
- Stage IV: Ascension - Ascension results once the user masters the Color of Perception, they are then transported mentally to the Realm of the Zodiac while their body is watched over by others in the Clan or someone the user trusts. They can not leave the realm until they defeat their inner self whom is as equally strong as them but contains all of their negative emotions and thoughts. Great concentration and perseverance is required to defeat their counterpart.
- Stage V: Omnipresence - In Omnipresence the user has reached the annals of the Akkimisu Clan's greatest warriors. In Omnipresence the user is once again transported to the Realm of the and is confronted by the Celestial Dragon Ryū. The user must prove themselves to Ryū surviving a nonstop battle with the Dragon for three days. When that becomes possible he blesses the user to access to some of the greatest abilities of the Clan.
- Stage VI: Celestial Awakening - Celestial Awakening is the highest form of achievement capable in the Akkimisu Clan and only Kusabana to date has been able to achieve such greatness. In Celestial Awakening Ryū takes his Human form and you must survive another three day battle with him. If capable of surviving Ryū blesses you with outrage physical abilities and access to legendary techniques of the Akkimisu.

Shunkō was created soon after the Zodiac Beast blessed the Akkimisu with Etoton. Shunkō is an advanced technique that combines hand-to-hand combat and spiritual energy to explosively increase a Shinobi's offensive capabilities. High-pressured chakra surges throughout the user's body before being converted into spiritual energy, enhancing their arms and legs for battle. The Spiritual Energy itself can also be controlled and fired at opponents from the body at later stages. Even later stages have been recently added to incorporate the usage of the Color of Perception and the Color of Arms. Those stages require immense time and effort but result in Masters of Taijutsu.
Shunkō requires three things: Speed, Immense Chakra, and Advanced Chakra Control. Combine these three things and Shunkō allows for quick devastating attacks that opponents can't withstand or keep up with. To date Shunkō has been considered one of the strongest Taijutsu fighting styles in the world. Each Stage teaches the user a lesson that improves upon his spiritual connectivity and improves him in body and mind.
