Appearance: As an Academy student, Amesuke generally wore a a off-white hoody with a red and white jacket over it. He generally wasn't one to wear goggles, but while he had them, he wore them around his neck, allowing them to hang down over his collarbone. Around his neck he wears a medallion that represents his religious beliefs. It's something that no matter how coerced, he will never remove it. He often states that no matter what happens, he will always put the necklace over his own life and he states that every time he takes it off, something absolutely horrible happens.

On to his lower body; he wears blue jean shorts with red and white sandals. On his lower back, he wears a single pouch on the lower left for him to reach with his off-hand while still having his main-hand weapon ready.

Amesuke, like his fathers before him has deep dark brown and black hair. To stand out as something different from his fathers before him, he dyed a portion of his hair white. This contradicts the generic black hair that his family tends to tote. His forehead protector is generally worn around his neck, nothing special about it other than the fact that the cloth is black rather than the blue that most ninja tend to sport. Rather than a flak jacket, like most ninja, Amesuke tends to wear light clothing that doesn't restrict his movement.

Beneath his outer jacket lies a thick black mesh body suit that covers everything except his head, hands, and feet. He wears generic shinobi sandals of a black color and finger-less gloves with the symbol for the leaf village on the back of his hands. His skin is a dark tanned color from head to toe which is something that is fairly rare amongst the Konohagakure. His eyes are a cool-gray and deep. He carries a pouch on his lower back which generally holds all of the items that he needs, be it scrolls, shuriken, kunai or anything else able to fit.

Emblazoned into the back of his jacket lies the swirl that generally shows up on the back of the Jounin Flak Jackets in Konoha, expressing his loyalties that he lies with.

Personality: Amesuke is quite the introvert amongst people that he doesn't quite know. This is because as a child, while he wasn't particularly the target of bullying, he was often afraid of ridicule and not be accepted by those around him. While he generally knows what he's doing, he often lets his own fear steer him away from achieving the greatness he could easily achieve. He tends to find himself more comforted when thinking to himself, but thinking to himself often causes him to second-guess himself and create his own fear. Once he is sure of himself and confident of his surroundings however, he tends to show great skill.

He has many flaws in his personality, he is sometimes (unknowingly) very shallow and thinks often of what people can give to him rather than what he can give back and at times it can even be switched. He may at times find himself trying to be "oh so righteous" when it isn't particularly needed. He tends to get himself in trouble, especially when he was in school, by "Overly-defending" those who are only minorly in need of help. For example, he may yell back at a teacher for reprimanding a student who he believed didn't really deserve it. This often backlashes onto Amesuke, putting himself into the same trouble.

Though Amesuke would like to be a leader, he often falls back into follower-like habits. Though he would do anything to do the right thing, he also feels that he needs to be accepted by those around him, even if he doesn't really need to. Even when he sets himself up to do leadership worthy things, he may cause himself to fail by over-thinking and under-planning. This being said, he legitimately wants the best for everyone, not in a "Mary-Sue" type of way. He doesn't always get what he wants and though he understands that, he can at times fly off the handle by not accepting the answer that people give him. Though he would never admit it, his emotions tend to rule his actions.

Amesuke is very strong willed, being able to fight incredible odds. He believes that regardless of what social standing you have, you should always at least listen to those who believe something is best for you. He refuses to back down when challenged on this thought. While he is determined to reach the top and become the best ninja ever, he also believes that he should never forget those he has left behind and often takes time to remember those who have helped him in the past. Though he is a passionate person, he has very little tolerance for stupidity or ignorance. He both loves hard and hates hard. When he truly, truly dislikes a person, he makes it quite known. There is very little middle ground when talking to or about Amesuke and he is the last person that anyone would ever be calling "Fake". At the same time, if he is your friend, he's very pleasant and for those that he wants to be his friend, he will make being around them pleasant as well. He is often described as a social butterfly. Able to recognize with many groups of people at once.

Background:
As far as I can remember...


...Push honey, push! Amegaki's voice echoed throughout the stone cave chamber from where this most sacrosanct child birth was occurring. Candles lit the dark room, illuminating the brown walks of the cave and showing the symbols of various seals. These seals supposedly absorbed the pain in the room, though it gave no reprieve to the man, watching his wife give birth to his first son. He could feel her hands clenching tightly and he gritted his teeth, wanting to take the pain away, wanting to make it all stop for her. The sounds of a strong cry could be heard echoing about and a quiet sigh was heard from his mother. As the medical ninja pulled the child from the womb, a worried, yet satisfied smile stretched quietly across his face. The medical ninja wrapped the child in blue blankets and placed it next to the mother.

Ah... Its a boy. The mother smiled and looked on as the baby cried and moaned. She held it close to her, seeing what she and Amegaki had created together...

A sharp pain jolted through the woman's body and she gritted her teeth sharply. The medical ninja were removing the after birth from the woman and as blood seeped out, she could feel herself becoming more and more lightheaded. She looked to the child and said, How... about... Amesuke... The small boy giggled a little at the name and the woman smiled, looking at Amegaki before watching the room fade to darkness. The words of the medical ninja yelling and attempting to heal her would be in vain. She had lost significant amounts of blood, causing her to die of complications and childbirth. From that day forward, Amegaki made it his business to tell his son of he greatness that was his mother. Though she died, they made sure that she would live on in their hearts. The death of his mother became a enigma of sorts, giving him reason to try and be great. While when first told of his mothers cause of death, he suffered from a sort of sadness, he began to understand that if his mother died for his birth, then he would do everything possible to show that he was not born in vain.

While in the Academy, Amesuke wasn't particularly well known. He made average grades at an average school and passed the exams with average capability. He didn't really make any friends because he didn't really want to. He kept to himself, doing the work put before him with no extra effort. It was only once he had a reason to try to be the best that he actually began being great and like any young boy, his reason was girls. He found an interest in women at a particularly young age, always trying to be the coolest, always trying to be the best. At the same time, this also left him open to be ridiculed and of course, he was. In his younger years, he wasn't particularly coordinated, causing him to at times trip over other and himself. People laughed at him and it hurt, but like anyone else, he got over it and kept moving, kept trying to be the best.

He would eventually betray Konoha, leaving the village for the Iwagakure for unknown reasons. However, due to the knowledge that Amesuke had given them, he would be immediately promoted to Jounin in their ranks.
