Clan History: The Rinnegan, the greatest of the three Dojutsu. The Rinnegan first dates back to the Sage of the Six Paths himself. He used the Rinnegan to access all Six Paths, and separate the Ten-Tails into nine different Bijuu on his final days, he then sent the remains of the Ten-Tails to the moon, and sealed it away. He then told his two sons that they must continue his legacy, one son would go on to create the first of the Uchiha Clan. The other, going on to create the first of the Senju Clan. While the fates of these two groups are important, what was odd was the way the Sage had obtained his Rinnegan.
The origin of the Sage’s gaining of the Mystical Doujutsu is a mystery, or if some people simply obtained the doujutsu. But whatecer the case some within the world who would seemingly have little connection to the Sage obtained a fraction of his power in the form of this powerful doujutsu. They have little and sometimes no bloodline or clan relations, and they have no group heritage, there are rumors that have been spread throughout time. While some say it is the destiny of the Rinnegan users to keep order and watch over the Bijuu and Jinchuuriki, others view them as the Sharingan evolution the perfect of that line of blood. Maybe the truth will never be known within this world, and maybe the doujutsu users are just lucky people who gain insight into the Ninja Arts like none other. Or maybe they are poor suckers of this world who are destined to bear a burden they can never erase and are hunted for. However, the Rinnegan is the most powerful force in the Ninja World.
The Rinnegan was admired as being able to bring forth all ninjutsu. It was said that in times when the world is in disorder, a person is sent down from the heavens to become either a "God of Creation" who will calm the world, or a "Destroyer" who will reduce everything to nothingness. The Rinnegan allows the user to use the Six Paths Technique. One who gains the Rinnegan has access to a multitude of abilities. On its own, the Rinnegan allows the user to see chakra, including otherwise hidden barriers such as the one which surrounded Konohagakure. The holders of these eyes have the potential to completely master all five basic nature transformations that form the basis of ninjutsu. It can also decipher more of the Sage of the Six Paths' tablet than the Sharingan and the Mangekyō Sharingan are able to. The Rinnegan can also allow its user to summon and control the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path.

Name: Deva path
Requirements: Ninjutsu Specialty, Puppetry.
Description: The Deva path allows a Rinnegan user to attract and repel forces. This in theory applies to the laws of gravity, but that is regarded as a parlor trick that never happened, and its true purpose is something far darker. It allows for the user to attract the force of a dead body to be more like their own, and repel their old form. This allows for the Rinnegan user to create a perfect clone of them which is within a real life body. This body can act independently of the user in almost all regards. For all respective purposes it has all the same abilities, bloodline limits, combat styles, and jutsu as the Rinnegan user. Deva path “clones” must be given a specific path to specialize in; in which case they can only access that path, but does not count against your ability to only use one path at a time. The Deva path counts as a puppet in terms of the total number of puppets you can control at a time; the deva path bodies cannot themselves use puppets or have the Deva path as their specialization.
Name: Asura path
Requirements: Taijutsu Major, or higher.
Description: The Asura path is the path of the automaton. It allows for the user to morph various parts of their body into weapons, and devices. This limit also increases the Doujutsu User’s endurance.
Name: Animal path
Requirements: Ninjutsu (Major or Higher)
Description: The Animal Path grants the user the ability of summoning various animals and creatures to aid them in battle. It is believe the beasts are immortal, and can be re-summoned after bing defeated. These creatures require no sacrifice or hand seals.
Name: Human Path
Requirements: Genjutsu Major
Description: The Human path is the embodiment of ‘humanity’. One with this path can read the minds of those whom they touch (be sure to work out with the victim’s RPer what exactly they are thinking) and cause physical, and mental pain to those who are touching should they happen to lie to them. A genjutsu does not count as a lie for these purposes.

Requirements: Ninjutsu Specialty
Description: The Preta path allows for the Rinnegan wielder to absorb an unnatural amount of chakra. They gain the ability to absorb chakra from attacks, and a 60% increase to their unmodified chakra pool.
Clan Traits/Characteristics: The wielders of the Rinnegan have the signature Doujutsu active at all times. Other than this they can have a variety of features due to many having a different heritage than the other but somehow manifesting the Rinnegan within their lifetime. Why is a mystery and many said it is god who grants the Rinnegan.
