    Merry Christmas Rainy.

    Clan Name: N/A
Bloodline Name: Dubbed “vampire” by legends, has no official name.
    Village(s)/Country(ies) Of Origin: None.

Clan History: Originally created to be the super soldiers that would defeat the beasts of old, the beings now known as Vampires have a less than favorable past. First made from tests on various subjects with a new parasitic chakra designed to enhance their bodies it had mixed results. All the subjects would either be weakened heavily or die outright depending on the exposure of it, and the project was almost scrapped until the patients showed signs of life once again after their death. This impressed the people working on it and after more tests and research deemed the project.. a failure. The people were indeed better as far as combat went, but they lacked socially and had glaring weaknesses that made them unfit to fight for them. Deciding to kill them off they managed to only kill but a few of them, the rest escaping to attempt to live their lives as best they could. As they mingled within the populace over time they noticed clans, and bloodlines come into being due to chakra, much like themselves and becoming curious a few of them set about to create hybrids of themselves within the normal populace or just weakened versions of themselves, mostly out of whim.

There are two types of vampires within the world, though many just classify them under one broad type outside of the “bloodline” itself. There are the true blood vampires, and then eh Acolytes, the true bloods being the stronger of the two in terms of their inherent ability, while the Acolyte’s while weaker are more diverse. This “split” came about from various experiments of some of the survivors from the original batch desiring to have others who were like them, but different to get rid of those pesky people who desire them dead for various reasons. Due to this the blood within them ended up giving them some powers but not all, but making them far less limited in terms of weaknesses, making them incredible soldiers used for survival purposes.

Still they weren’t a match for a true blood in strict bloodline ability combat, and thus the true bloods thought themselves better than the Acolyte’s. This didn’t lead into a war like one might come to expect but it did lead to the cast system that has stayed around ever since, the lesser bloods being looked down upon rather than looked up too as equals. Unique in the ninja world today for the most part, this bloodline exists throughout the entire ninja world and some beyond it. Hiding somewhat in the shadows to prevent others from being disgusted or attacking them out of believing silly legends. This has turned them into a clan of secrets even from each other on many occasions; and an non unified mess of a clan that can’t make up its own mind on important matters. Most do their own thing, while many try and fit normally into societies; and in the end it’s all up to the individual to come up their own path they wish to follow.

Bloodline Description: Vampires have very unique traits that set them apart from others within the world. They do not need to eat what most humans call food instead ingesting blood in any manor they see fit to do so. They have longer extendable canine fangs for this purpose, though just cutting the guy with a knife works too. They possess the ability to see within the dark perfectly, and can withstand injuries normally too serve to be survivable; the only really fatal wounds being that of a decapitation and the destruction of the heart. This may make them seem immortal to most, but in reality within the world of ninja’s now a days they aren’t as tough as one might think; due to all their fancy techniques and good training. Vampires who are true bloods also have increased life spans as their blood isn’t polluted by anything else and is “pure”. Their life span has never successfully been measured, but it isn’t assumed to be forever, though considering centuries have passed since the sage of six and the experiment even before him; it has been confirmed to be very long.

Vampires are not without generic weaknesses however, they possess a few traits that make them crippled in some conditions and viewed as cursed. While they may life for a long time, they can never enjoy the sun again as it will start to burn them after only a short exposure (2 posts ICly), and as such almost all of them are nocturnal in nature preferring not to take the risk of being out in a boiling death trap. They are also incredibly weak to silver as it reacts violently with the parasitic chakra causing wounds to become more severe just because that material was involved. Vampires also feel dead to the touch as in their bodies are very cold. This has made having a handshake take place or playing a game of tackle football very awkward. Unlike vampire Acolyte’s who aren’t nigh immortal in life span true bloods cannot reproduce sexually, instead they tend to view the ones they either turn into Acolyte’s or other true bloods as their children, as technically they are blood related; though some prefer to call them siblings or perhaps call the ones they turned parents, really it’s all relative to the RPC in questions personality.

There are strengths of the Vampires, but those will be labeled within the talents themselves instead the personality of the vampires shall take place here. Many are highly intelligent predators that feed and live off of the masses, while some are timid and try to fiercely hide what they are while attempting to remain “normal”. Their personalities are all different in every sense of the word; what is the same are a few traits that are inherited with the blood itself. There is the matter of their intelligence, they are very smart and while not genius level naturally they are smarter than average due to the chakra changing their chemical makeup and enhancing their brains. They simply have to be in order to get by without dying. They also share some form of alter ego; which normally is not present enough o talk to them just delude their moral code a tad. Very few make it out without this affecting them in some way mentally, and quite a few just fully embrace it and became as cold as their body temperature.

How one becomes a vampire be it true blood or Acolyte is different each time. The simple bite can be enough or perhaps it was a jutsu an NPC hit you with, or a seal; perhaps a ritual? The key part is that the parasitic chakra has affected you somehow and made you into what you are. The fact that their chakra is parasitic is what makes them tricky as absorbing too much of their chakra could make you turn into one of them after the battle is won (or lost), though this is merely plot purposes, and could add a cool element to a fight. If an RPC/NPC is restrained fully for at least a post however, and the vampire is able to bite them in question they will become one, be it Acolyte or true blood (vampire RPer’s choice, though don’t be a complete dick about it) and they shall fade from their conscious and wake up around 1-7 days later fully embracing what they are. This expends 100EXP from said RPC and none from NPC’s. If the RPC in question lacks the 100EXP required it’s okay their EXP they earn will be deducted until they have earned the 100 required to have gained this ability; and it must be spent first before anything else, as technically it is already spent.

    Bloodline Talents:

Note: these traits are only for those who have this bloodline and not for the ones with the Vampire Acolyte trait as those benefits are listed within the talent itself.

    • Name: Parasitic effects
      Requirements: Vampire bloodline.
      Cost: 0EXP, gained when turned.
Description: The parasitic chakra that lives within those who are known as Vampires has odd effects upon them. Besides what was described within the bloodline description, this bloodline talent effectively makes the user better physical at the expense of being slightly worse in terms of chakra control. A Vampire with this bloodline talent gains 50% to both their strength and speed, but -50% to their chakra control as their parasitic chakra enhances their physical abilities, but makes it harder to focus it into more special attacks.

    • Name: Blood healing.
      Requirements: Vampire bloodline.
      Cost: 0EXP, gained when turned.
Description: All Vampires have the ability to heal from ingesting blood. While many Vampires can heal minor wounds easily after getting some blood (cuts, bruises) within a post the actual recovery process of highly functional organs takes a lot longer; 10 posts to be exact. This can cover nearly anything fatal, but when healing serious wounds the vampire in question is immobile, and unable to access any of their chakra based abilities (which are pretty much every single one on forum). Should they successfully recover from serious wounds then they will still be too tired to do much else other than run away, or rest. One with Ijutsu cuts the post time in half, but does not reduce any drawbacks, and due to the chakra itself being the cause of this failure it’s impossible to undo the side effects of this ability, no matter how strong the vampire. The last clause is something vampires in the past or hunters of them have exploited to kill their competition/prey.

    • Name: Bonds.
      Requirements: Vampire bloodline.
Cost: 100EXP (spent on the Vampire turning the RPC/NPC’s part)
Description: There is a reason why so many consider either the True blood turns, and Acolytes of another vampire to be close to them, because they are. They share a stronger connection with them than any other member of the bloodline. Specifically they are able to read each other’s emotions better, making for a more concerned or angered state depending on the situation. This bond also carries over into the ability to communicate with each other telepathically up to 30ft away; and those turned normally feel some form of loyalty to the one who made them what they are. This isn’t to extreme, but it feels like a kinship or family or the closest they will ever get to that rather. Should those bonded train together they reduce the word count by 25 words, and the point training by 10, they also gain +10% EXP from missions if they complete them together. List below the RPC’s you have bonded with, and any RPC’s the ones you have bonded with have bonded with (note that only true bloods {aka this bloodline} can gain the benefits of this talent from more than one person.)

    Bloodline/clan jutsu:

    • Name: Bat replacement.
      Prerequisites: Vampire Acolyte.
      Style: Ninjutsu
      Jutsu Rank: D (Basic)
Description: Like the replacement technique except with a signature flare about it. Bat replacement allows for the user to change their body into a swarm of bats thus replacing it, and move to another location pre determined before they use this move via their will. This technique while incredibly useful is impossible to spam, and when reforming the user has to take a moment for all the bats to gather leaving them vulnerable to a counter attack. Due to the bats needing to reform after each use this technique’s ability to be “spammed” isn’t very high and can only be done once every other post.

    • Name: Bat transformation
      Prerequisites: Vampire Acolyte
Style: Type of Jutsu category that it belongs in
Jutsu Rank: Rank of the Jutsu
Description: Some guy thought he was clever when he choose the bat as his symbol for his abilities. It caught on and now everyone and their grandma’s who is a Vampire Acolyte thinks it’s awesome to turn into a bat. Unlike the normal transformation technique this one actually turns you into a bat making both a blessing and a curse. This technique while it has it’s uses makes the user vulnerable as they will be in a tiny form, and unable to access their other jutsu while within it. Thankfully it’s sealess and can be cancelled at will, just make sure you are in a good spot to do so and not hanging from a cave ceiling.

    • Name: Drain vitality
      Prerequisites: Vampire Acolyte
      Style: Ninjutsu and Taijutsu
      Jutsu Rank: C
Description: The bite or touch that supposedly drains the victim of their life, this jutsu is one to be feared, but not for that reason. It doesn’t drain someone of their life, but it does increase their fatigue making the target becoming tired faster and easier; this technique only works on touch however making it hard to pull off, but rewarding if long term contact is maintained with the prey. It is also sealess which is a big plus for it.

    • Name: Swarm
      Prerequisites: Vampire acolyte
      Style: Ninjutsu
      Jutsu Rank: C-B-A-S-Rank
Description: Forming a few hand seals the user will create a swarm of bats from their body whose sole purpose is the destruction of their target. They are chakra bats meaning that they are not just limited to biting and they can slash, cut, and ram just like any other chakra kind of attack the difference is their ability to adapt and change in flight to ensure their target is destroyed. Unfortunately this isn’t as grand as it sounds and they are slow to turn and rotate despite being fast to their target destination making them not too difficult to shoot down, and block. The number created depends on the rank of technique used, ranging from 10-20-30-40 depending upon the rank in that order.

    • Name: Receptive blood.
      Prerequisites: Vampire acolyte.
      Style: Ijutsu
      Jutsu Rank: A-Rank
Description: Designed by a vampire acolyte who was tired of having to work their assess off to heal others as their career demanded. This technique allows for the vampire to transfer their own blood into another and have it work like this talent in terms of healing, the only downside is that it makes the one who received it sick and unhealthy looking for a week, but regardless it shall still heal them quite well. Not suited really for battlefield combat as much as off screen recovery for those who are not vampires, there is another use for the move. This technique can speed the recovery process of a vampire who has it used on them (even themselves as they lace their blood with more chakra than normal), and cause their ability to heal major wounds to be increased to make it only take 5 posts to fully heal. They are more sluggish and slightly weaker and thus lose their strength and speed bonus while this is up, but it’s still better than dying outright… right? It also makes them wish to properly feed more so than other times, but that was as the creator put it “an unavoidable side effect”.
