Guide to The Market Place Empty Guide to The Market Place

Post by Amesuke Sun Apr 14, 2013 5:32 pm

Behold! In each country there is now a Market place where shinobi may go to interact and trade amongst themselves! This is a guide to how it works and how to keep things running nice and smoothly:

First, I will go over the basic rules of smithing and mechanical work.

    • Mechanics and Blacksmiths (those who have the title) may post up their own topics in this sub-forum which will act as their store.

    • Both characters must be present ICly to make a transaction.

    • While in this store, the customer must fill out the template and hand it to the maker ICly so that they may create the weapon ICly.

    • The Price is negotiated between the Customer and Blacksmith however, for every ability added to the blade, the price should jump by an amount somewhere between 350 and 750 Ryou. If it's a blade, it's cutting power should reflect it's price unless it has an ability which backs up it's lack of cutting power. Something able to cut steel would costs several thousands of Ryou.

    • Mechanics specialize in making puppets while blacksmiths specialize in making weapons. Don't go to a mechanic store asking for a sword, you'll likely be turned down.

    • Mechanics may repair puppets, puppet users may not unless by using a jutsu or ability. The cost of repair is negotiated between the puppet user and the mechanic.

    • Basic wooden puppets are free, however the weapons that come along with them are not. Each aperture and weapon has it's own cost, making puppets extremely costly, but extremely useful when created correctly.

    • Puppets, unlike custom weapons, may be completely destroyed, meaning repairing it would cost about the same amount as buying a completely new identical puppet.

    • Human puppetry falls under the same category as regular puppets. They must be repaired by a mechanic. An Ijutsu user is only able to help so much.

    • A member may ask that their shop be "stickied." This prevents the shop from falling off of the end of the first page. This only counts for people who are blacksmiths or mechanics.

    • A member who is not a blacksmith may walk into an NPC stored to get an NPC to make a weapon for them.
