In this guide, I will attempt to explain the way creating weapons works and what each portion of the template represents to someone who's looking to create their own personalized weapons or items.
Name: This is a very simple portion of the template. Just give the item a name. It doesn't have to be symbolic or anything.
Requisition Rank: This is the rank at which a shinobi must be in order to take ownership of this item. What this translates to is, the rank required to use the weapon. While the weapon may be in possession of someone who does not fit the rank requirements, they must meet the requirements in order to actually use the weapon in combat.
Weight: This is the weight of the weapon. This is mostly so that people may understand what type of attacks they can expect to come at them. Generally, lighter weapons would have a wider range of movement while heavier ones would be reduced to fewer directions with larger damage generated.
Description: This is where you explain what the weapon or item actually does. Try to be precise with how the tool is meant to be used and its strengths. Also, try to be fair when making items.
Appearance: Describe what the item looks like, or provide a picture. If there is no picture, be extremely precise with how the weapon or item looks.
One more thing to note about creating weapons is that every weapon has a Ryou price that is scaled by the requisition rank. Higher ranked weapons are stronger than lower ranked weapons and are given more freedom when it comes to abilities and strengths.
Shinobi with the Blacksmith Title are able to create items with 50% off at all times as far as the cost in Ryou goes.
