Clan Description:

The Senju clan is descended from the younger of the two sons of the Sage of the Six Paths. He was born with the "body" of the Sage, inheriting his father's strength of will and physical energy. The Sage's younger son believed that love was the key to bringing peace to the world. The Sage grew to favour the ideals of his younger son over those of his older son, who believed that power alone was the true key to finding peace. Therefore, on his deathbed it was the younger of the two brothers that the Sage chose to name as his successor. The elder brother, bitter and hateful at having being denied what he felt was rightfully his to inherit, attacked his younger sibling. The Uchiha clan would descend from the elder brother, resulting in the bitter centuries-long rivalry between the Senju and the Uchiha.

The Senju clan gained their fame in the era before the founding of the hidden villages. Where other clans focused on mastering one particular skill, the Senju were masters in all skills, from ninjutsu, to taijutsu, to genjutsu. Because of this, they were feared as "the clan with a thousand skills", which gave them their name Senju.

The most famous member of the clan was their leader, Hashirama Senju. His unique Wood Release ninjutsu even gave the clan the nickname the Senju clan of the Forest (森の千手一族, Mori no Senju Ichizoku). This Wood Release, and his ability to control the tailed beasts, made him the greatest shinobi of his time.

The Senjus' place at the top of the shinobi world was undisputed, but there was one clan that was able to stand up to them: the Uchiha clan. Whenever one country hired the Senju, their enemies would hire the Uchiha, and vice versa. This led to a rivalry between the two clans and, more specifically, between the leaders of the clans, Hashirama and Madara Uchiha.

However, in a world of constant bloodshed, Hashirama had a dream of peace, and a great love for his fellow men. Known as the "Will of Fire", this belief made the Senju clan propose a truce to the Uchiha clan. Weary of fighting, and persuaded by Hashirama's great charisma and negotiation skill, the Uchiha accepted, ending their bloody rivalry. Only Madara was against this truce, believing the Senju would one day destroy the Uchiha clan. He was forced to accept, but his humiliation wouldn't end there.

Some time after the alliance between the Senju and the Uchiha was signed, the Land of Fire hired them to stabilize its borders, and the clans created a permanent settlement within the country. Thus, Konohagakure was founded, and, with it, the system of one Hidden Village per country. As the system spread throughout the world, the constant violence stopped, and Hashirama's dream began to become a reality. But it would soon start anew after Hashirama was elected as the First Hokage; a move Madara felt was a humiliation, and made him decide to leave the new village, eventually returning to attack it.

Clan Traits/Characteristics:
Because this "clan" is not actually biological, many of the members are not even related by blood. Their traits are spread out and completely random. The only similarity between the "family" is their intense love of peace and love of preserving peace. Although each member individually lacks ability on one area, the clan together is known to be a master of every style of fighting.

Clan Personality:
Every member of the Senju clan is in love with the idea of peace and protection of the hidden leaf village. They are willing to die protecting it if they must and would do so without a second thought. They tend to be optimistic people, often ones who cheer people up as they live their own lives. They are often shown to be calm and collected people and tend to have great charisma and high skill in negotiation. They see Konoha as their own personal family.

Bloodline Description:
Although the clan is called a "family" very few of the members actually have parents who are Senju and it is quite possible for children who are biological twins to end up with one being a senju and one not being one. There's generally not even a real way to detect if a child is a Senju or not until they have grown to roughly the age of 16 where their abilities are able to be seen more thoroughly. There is a test to it, every child in the Senju clan is born with the water element and when it comes time to learn a second element. If they have a push towards earth or lightning, they are looked at more thoroughly. Their final test is if they have the ability to learn Wood Release techniques. Although the Senju have the Wood Release element, they are able to incorporate more of their training into their techniques, allowing them to learn moves that the average shinobi would have no chance of even dreaming up.

The First Hokage was a master of the wood release, able to build masses of space simply by pushing his chakra into a life source.

The Second Hokage was a master of the water release, able to form masses of water where there were none. He was also a great swordsman and a ninjutsu master, able to do jutsu which needed multiple seals with a single seal.

Description:
The Heart of The Earth, often called "The Genetics of The First" is a peculiar ability that occurs rarely in children at birth. It forces the bearer to be ninjutsu users and removes any ability for the bearer to efficiently use fuuinjutsu or puppetry. This is because the users chakra points are built slightly different than the average shinobi. While the average shinobi's chakra points are nodes through which chakra is released, the Senju chakra points are nodes through which chakra is relaxed, making their chakra pool more easily tapped into and much more easily controlled. Due to this, one with this ability automatically casts, breaks, and learns genjutsu as if they had one style point on genjutsu. Those with this ability gain Mokuton and Doton at A-Rank with a 6 point training. The mokuton users of the Senju clan are able to rapidly cause trees to grow by using their chakra. This means, rather than causing wood spikes to come from the ground, they would be more likely to cause and actual tree to sprout and grow at a rapid rate. Due to this, they are often sought after for remedies because the long wait for trees or bushes to grow is essentially gone.

Requirements: Water Release, Taken at creation. Must have Ninjutsu Major or Higher. User cannot have a genjutsu style point, a medical jutsu style point, a puppetry style point, nor a fuuinjutsu style point. May not have Heart of The Earth
Description:
The Eye of The Storm, often called "The Genetics of The Second" is also a peculiar ability that seldom is seen in children at birth. It forces the bearer to focus their body more on ninjutsu and taijutsu. Their chakra is wired in a strange sense, similar to those who have "The Genetics of The First" However these ninja are unable to learn Genjutsu, Fuuinjutsu, Puppetry, or Medical Jutsu. Their chakra points are a slight bit larger, giving them a larger chakra pool to work with, however, theirs are not constantly open like their brethren, causing them to be far more susceptible to fuuinjutsu and genjutsu and harder to work on with medical jutsu. One with this ability automatically fights and learns taijutsu as if they had one extra style point on taijutsu. Thanks to the larger chakra points, one with this ability has to do significantly less hand seals when doing jutsu which require them, however when doing them in a pinch like this, the effectiveness is severely cut by up to 35%. Those with this ability gain the lightning release at A-Rank.

Name: The Senju Seal
Requirements: Must be a Senju.
Description:
This ability allows the user to place a seal anywhere on their body that looks like the Senju symbol. The seal, by itself, does nothing but draw chakra from the user at a rate that is stable and effective for the user. The seal has the ability to store an infinite amount of chakra, however, it does not necessarily mean the user has an infinite store of chakra. Chakra must be placed in the seal prior before they can be used. This ability comes in handy when the user needs an extra short-lived supply of chakra. When the seal is activated, the user has a boost in a single style point of choice (this does not allow them to learn techniques that are otherwise unlearnable due to style point reasons). Some jutsu can only be accessed by activating this. The seal has a point-system. Each post in which it is not activated, it gains point, each post in which it IS activated, it loses one point, specific jutsu require points as well. The higher ranked a person is, the more points the seal gains per post it is not in use:

This seal can, in theory, hold an endless amount of chakra, however, if the user has not placed said chakra into the seal prior to using it, nothing will be drawn and no boosts will be added. The points must be kept track of by the user, anyone found cheating the system will be subject to an immediate trash of their character and may not make a Senju again unless by admin permission. Along with the ability to store chakra, the leader of the clan may at any time kill off a member of the clan by activating this seal, however it is only done to members who defect from Konoha and become missing.

Name: Storming Dragon Whip
Type: Ninjutsu
Rank: S-Ranked Kinjutsu
Requirements: Senju, Senju Seal
Description: This technique is an extremely dangerous one that generally kills most enemies it touches. It is very effective because it requires no hand seals. The user simply gathers chakra to their hand and forms water, forming a whip shaped like a dragon. The dragon is then sent towards the enemy, causing damage due to the pressure of the water. Not to mention the dragon has sharp fangs that can easily pierce through flesh and bone

Name: Raging Storm
Type: Ninjutsu
Rank: B-Rank
Requirements: Senju
Description: This technique is more of a supplementary one, using only water. It allows the user to form a hurricane around the enemy and the user, placing them in the eye of the storm to have a one on one battle or even to just talk. If there is no water around, it costs the amount of a S-Ranked Jutsu to get started, then costs a B-Ranked Jutsu per post it's maintained. If there is a mass of water, it costs the amount of a B-Ranked jutsu, then costs a D-Ranked jutsu to maintain each post.


Name: True Dense Woodland Creation
Type: Ninjutsu
Rank: S-Ranked Kinjutsu
Requirements: Mokuton, Senju, Senju Seal.
Description: By releasing the seal the senju has placed on their body. Their chakra can grow immensely, allowing them to focus it all on tasks that are important to them. This technique, being based upon the weaker version of this, is simply an improved version. While it doesn't allow the woodlands to attack enemies, it does allow the user to create a much more dense woodland, roughly up to a half of a mile.

Name: Senju Tree Restraints
Type: Ninjutsu
Rank: B-Ranked
Requirements: Mokuton, Senju
Description: The user will do a few hand seals and cause trees to grow around the enemy. From there, the branches will grow rapidly, then begin to wrap around the enemy, growing and then tightening a slight bit to restrict movement. This is just a general grab by the trees, so hand seals may or may not be restricted, depending on the situation. The trees are no stronger than any normal tree at it's prime in it's life.
