Amari's Genjutsu

Name: The First Circle - Limbo
Type: Genjutsu - Visual

Description:  In this "Circle" the target will feel like their going about their every day lives placed in the Asphodel Meadows.  They will actually be living the life of a normal man working the fields.  The key behind this genjutsu is the river that will flow nearby.  The target will feel as if they haven't drank for days, causing them to want to drink from this river.  Should their will power not stop them from doing so, (and why would it, unless they have seen this jutsu before?) The user will have to rely on the opponent having an open wound for this jutsu. The target will then drink their own blood as they drink from the river in the genjutsu.  As they do this it will break the jutsu while they still suck on their cut on their arm, shocking them as they come back into reality.  This is the opening act and serves as a warning of what's to come as the User sends you on a trip through Hell. This jutsu requires a cut to already be in place.

Name: The Second Circle - Lust

Description: In this genjutsu the User will enact the first punishment for the enemy letting their appetites sway their reason. They are the first ones to be truly punished in Hell. These souls are blown about to and fro by the terrible winds of a violent storm, without hope of rest. This symbolizes the power of lust to blow one about needlessly and aimlessly.  Within the "Circle" the target will be swept up in a large tornado-like vortex.  They will be cut by the great winds, cutting the opponent in very small cuts all across their body.  These cuts resemble the like of a small blade cutting the skin and will be very slender and hardly deep within the skin.  Though the numbers will be great.

Name: The Third Circle - Gluttony

Description:   In this genjutsu, the target is forced to lie in a vile slush produced by ceaseless foul, icy rain. The gluttons lie here sightless and heedless of their neighbors, symbolizing the cold, selfish, and empty sensuality of their lives. Just as lust has revealed its true nature in the winds of the previous circle, here the slush reveals the true nature of sensuality – which includes not only overindulgence in food and drink, but also other kinds of addiction.  In this genjutsu the brain will feel as though their entire body is frozen to the point of numbness eventually causing the target's brain to feel as if it's body is numb after the genjutsu breaks for a maximum of 2 posts, less for particularly willed fighters.  This will make it very hard to move and as such is quite potent in a fight.  Should they take more than their first post to break but still get out before the third, their body will still think it's numb, albeit partially, and the target will feel this numbness for only the first post thereafter.  

Name: The Fourth Circle - Greed

Description:  In this genjutsu, those whose attitude toward material goods deviated from the appropriate means are punished. They include the avaricious or miserly, who hoarded possessions, and the prodigal, who squandered them. The two groups "joust", using as weapons great weights which they push with their chests.  This will tire the target out should they not break the genjutsu and should they take the full 2 posts to break it they will be left feeling as if they were pushed to sheer exhaustion.  Should they not participate then they will watch as the the unnaturally fast enemies crush them with their rocks.  


Name: The Fifth Circle - Wrath & Sadness

Description: In the swamp-like water of the river Styx, the wrathful fight each other on the surface, and the sullen lie gurgling beneath the water, withdrawn "into a black sulkiness which can find no joy in living.  Depending on which the target's brain feels the most inclination towards they will have two different effects.  

If the Wrath is chosen, then the target will find themselves fighting countless enemies taking damage as they lose control of the situation.  Large cuts will seemingly be inflicted wherever they are cut in the genjutsu.  The cuts won't be life threatening, but will most definitely hurt a great deal.  The cuts will grow in number based on the posts you remain in the genjutsu.  All cuts are illusionary only taken within the genjutsu. (1 post = 5; 2 posts = 10; 3 posts = 15; stacking per post.) The genjutsu will end after the third post.

If Sadness is chosen, then the target will find themselves laying under the water of the river watching the fights above.  They will sink towards the bottom unable to move,  this will usually cause panic in the brain with the belief they are drowning.  Should they not break this genjutsu a weaker target could find themselves left unconcious in reality as their brain goes into shock from the ordeal.  They have 3 posts to break the genjutsu before this occurs.  Though this is by no means guaranteed as anyone with a strong enough will would just come out tired and gasping for air, kind of like a fish out of water.

Name: The Sixth Circle - Heresy

Description:  In this genjutsu, heretics, people in question of the User's power (Please note that you will be trapped in the tomb regardless of if you question the power should you be placed in this genjutsu), are trapped in flaming tombs.  They will feel as if their flesh is literally being burnt off as the continously feel the burning sensation.  This will cause the victim great pain, and though they may remain concious if their body can take the pain they will believe that it has actually happened when the genjutsu is broken or released, as their skin in the genjutsu isn't actually affected it just causes the feeling of such pain.  

Name: The Seventh Circle - Violence

Description: In this genjutsu, the target will be punished for violence, (which as a shinobi will be just about everyone)  In this ring are those violent towards the user, who are transformed into gnarled thorny bushes and trees, with their own corpses hanging from the limbs.  They are fed on by dozens of harpies, and will seemingly have rather large gashes in them.  Quite a shock for the victim as the pain sets in.    

Name: The Eighth Circle - Fraud

Description:  In this genjutsu,  a sword-wielding demon hacks at the sowers of discord, dividing parts of their bodies as they divided others in life. As they make their rounds the wounds heal, only to have the demon tear apart their bodies again.  Will happen once per post the victim stays within the genjutsu.  A rank chakra to maintain the genjutsu by the user.

For descriptions sake, the demon stands at eight foot tall with a massive muscular form.  Despite this it is quick for it's size should it ever have the cause to make the effort.  It carries a long sword that has demonic engravings along the length that blood will flow through the weapon cleaves into it's victims.

Name: The Ninth Circle - Treachery

Description:  In this genjutsu, all of the sinners punished within are completely encapsulated in ice, distorted in all conceivable positions.  Anyone that has ever lost within this technique can been seen as a statue for others to view when they get placed within.  This jutsu is used for stronger opponents to force a fight that won't level half a village.  Often used within city walls or other areas that the user doesn't want massive collateral damage to occur.

This circle will also be the only circle in which the user will be seen within the genjutsu.  Standing directly in front of the victim, the fight will re-commence within the genjutsu as soon as the jutsu takes effect.  Within the genjutsu both ninja will feel as if their chakra pools were restored.  Making for an even fight within the "walls" of the genjutsu.  Should either of the two opponents die within the genjutsu they will be knocked unconscious within the real world.  Making this technique a horribly double edged sword.  A C-rank amount of chakra per post to keep this active per post.  

Also no chakra is actually expended in reality within the genjutsu by either the user or the victim.  While holding this jutsu the user will be forced to focus on maintaining control of the genjutsu.  Thus can't move themselves.  They would first have to release the genjutsu to move.  Any attack on the user or other disturbance that breaks the users focus would also stop the genjutsu.

Name: Hanashi
Type: Genjutsu - Visual

Description: Talk it out is a simple genjutsu in appearance.  Most people won't even know they're in a genjutsu until they try to attack the user of this technique.  As after they use this nothing will appear to have changed.  The user and target will still be in their same location and can continue to move about and talk as they like.  In reality neither of them will not be moving at all however, as the user is simply making an environment in which they may deliver the information they need to unharmed.  Should the target try to attack the user however they will activate the second phase of this illusion casting them into a demented world in which the user will appear to be floating off a platform that the target will be placed on.  Any attack will simply soar through them in the illusion and they may continue to speak to their target until they release this genjutsu or the target breaks it.  Though this may appear to be the same as the real world before the opponent attacks the entire thing is an illusion that must be cast prior to the opponents attack.  The user will also be unable to attack while within this genjutsu.  This justu can only be held for two posts at a maximum.

Name: Jikan

Description: In this genjutsu the user appears to stop time itself.  This leaves the target practically unable to move in whatever spot they had previously been in and helpless to the user within the genjutsu.  Naturally this is all an illusion and won't actually be happening.  The target will be unable to move within this genjutsu as if they are being held by invisible chains.  Though powerful this genjutsu is fairly easy to see through and as such is easily broken if an opponent has the capabilities.  As such this is usually used more as a tool to get an opponent to stop fighting long enough to tell them something, but has more combat oriented usefulness than Hanashi.  Though this may appear to be the real world it is completely an illusion and any action taken here in will have no real world effects.  

Name: Shinkiro

Description:  The user places the victims within a fake world that will look like the real world.  A wide-range genjutsu, where by the user is able to manifest realistic mirages.  As it is impossible for observers to distinguish from the real thing through normal methods, this property makes the technique ideal for concealing the actual location of the user, resulting in confusion amongst the opposition as their attacks are rendered ineffective and they attempt to ascertain the user's true positions. However, in order to maintain the illusions, the user must continually focus on the jutsu throughout the duration of the technique and will be unable to move in the real world. According to what is said, the only method to end the technique, outside of the normal genjutsu breaking stuff, is to defeat the real user but as the they remain camouflaged within the mirage, this is no easy task, even if the user is providing beneficial advice. While the technique is in effect, the user cannot be sensed through most means, with the exception of contact type methods.  The user's mirage can also launch jutsu that he knows at the enemy and they will appear to take full effect within the genjutsu, though will cause no harm within the real world.  A C rank amount of chakra is used per post to keep this mirage active.
